Color with Confidence ("we", "us") is a professional tool for licensed cosmetologists and barbers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We rely on: Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics), Stripe (payments), Perfect Corp / YouCam and Google (AI photo processing). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
If you book an appointment through a business's Color with Confidence booking page and check the optional text-message box, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent to receive appointment text messages (program: Color with Confidence Appointment Alerts). We use that number only to send the appointment messages you asked for: a booking confirmation, reminders before the appointment, and a notice if it is cancelled or rescheduled. Consent is not a condition of booking. Message frequency varies by appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts, or HELP for help. Messages are delivered through our SMS provider, Twilio, which processes the number solely to deliver them.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

Formula Feedback posts are visible to signed-in stylists. You can report any post, comment, message, or user to our team, and you can block any stylist — blocking hides their content from you and prevents messages in both directions.
You can permanently delete your account and data anytime in the app: Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete Account. This removes your account, clients, formulas, appointments, sales history, messages inbox, and uploaded photos. A few things are retained: posts and comments you shared publicly in Formula Feedback (shown with the name you used at the time), and formulation records kept for chemistry-quality review, which contain no client contact details. Salon owners should email us so we can close the salon properly. You can also request deletion by emailing support@colorwithconfidence.com.
You control the client records you enter. Client contact details are never shared with other stylists, and shared formula cards in Formula Feedback are automatically stripped of client names and photos.
Data is stored in Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to production data is limited to the operators of the service.
